About the Role
As a live-in child caregiver in Montréal, you’ll provide day-to-day care for children in a family home. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a nurturing and structured environment where children can grow, learn, and feel safe.
This is a full-time, on-site position (40 hours per week). The role begins as soon as possible, and room and board are provided for the successful candidate.
The employer has also applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire a temporary foreign worker, though Canadian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children in a safe, home-based setting.

Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment.

Assist children with personal hygiene and daily routines.

Plan educational and recreational activities that promote development.

Accompany children to school, appointments, or outdoor activities as needed.

Requirements

Education: Other trades certificate or diploma (or equivalent).

Experience: 1–2 years in child care or a similar caregiver role.
