About the Role (Detailed)

As a live-in caregiver North York position, you’ll reside with a senior in the employer’s home. You’ll assist with personal hygiene, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship. Plus, you may complete occasional remote administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, and hygiene

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals

• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant caregiving experience

• Valid criminal record check and professional references

• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, walk, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg)

• Punctual, client-focused, dependable, and flexible

• Excellent communication, teamwork, organisation, patience, and honesty
